Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress Tiwa Savage has signed a global record deal with Universal Music Group. Born in Lagos, Savage is one of Nigeria's (and the African continent's) biggest star. She follows in the footsteps of fellow Nigerian music artists WizKid and Davido in signing multinational record deals. This is a great moment for West African musicians and Afrobeats music.
