Chef Kwame Onwuachi has been on a roll lately and was recently profiled in the New York Times. The Bronx born Chef with Nigerian roots was nominated for a 2019 James Beard award and recently released a memoir titled "Notes from a Young Black Chef: A Memoir". Chef Onwuachi is the creator and Executive Chef at Kith/Kin, a popular Afro-Carribean influenced restaurant in DC. Our favorite item on the menu: crab jollof rice with rouget.
