The Chale Wote Street Art Festival is one of the best annual events in Accra. The festival is "an alternative platform that brings art, music, dance, and performance out of the galleries and on to the streets of James Town, Accra." It happens every August/September and has been featured in Vogue. We are posting about it first because we love its combination and appreciation of Ghanaian music, art, and culture - a key part of volta foods.
